Appendix
A Technical Appendix to The Pendulum in Ancient Metrology Many of these Ancient Standards of Measurement existed before the developed of a written language. Their study and classification can only be accomplished through numerical analysis. This study required the development of accurate methods of analysis so that proposed theories of their origin could be compared to measured values. The following mathematical formula and physical constants are provided for the serious student who wishes to advance this research into our ancient past.
